When one first meets 9 year old Maestro, they are met with attention- begging for pets, insistent and happy, teeth showing in a tiny smile. He will crawl into your lap and kiss your face- so friendly and sweet. Maestro makes an impression on all that he meets. We joke that he's a bit "head empty," but this boy is just a tad lazy and stubborn; after all- what's in it for him? He is cat-safe, calm, smart, fast, driven- a must for a service dog.

He moves beautifully, and it should be no surprise that he is a UKC champion as well- having come from Francie Stull and Jennifer Ceballos. It is unfortunate that his obesity in his previous home has affected his current structure so much.
