Dagger has found his wonderful family!

Born April 5, 2017.

7 year old, 25-30lb Dagger was surrendered to Silken Windhound Health and Rescue because his previous owner was unable to monetarily care for him. He'd been in 4 separate homes before then, and was fostered by us at Stardust Silkens so he could get medical care and find his perfect home. Thankfully we were very familiar with him and he loves Leo dearly (Leo has known him since 2018!) He's very loved by all of us at SS, but we knew he was meant for someone else, and is now making his new family as happy as he is them!

Dagger is neutered and a GDV/bloat survivor (has a gastropexy, happened in 2022). He received expensive, much needed current Veterinary care, so please consider donating to his cause, and future rescue Silken causes, by purchasing some merch here or donating directly here. His main problem seemed to be an intense infection in his mouth/teeth. He had to have 12 teeth removed and healed up tremendously!

This boy is a very sweet, sensitive, and a very special guy. He demands comfort and beds, absolutely adores whoever he deems to be his person, and is making his new family the most loving companion. Dagger is lovable, the best at cuddling, and he even loves to rub his face on your legs like a cat.
